THE WEDDING EXPERIENCE

THE APPROACH
Your wedding day isn’t a photoshoot—it’s a story unfolding in real time. As a Long Island wedding photographer serving Long Island and beyond, I focus on capturing genuine moments and meaningful connections as they naturally happen. Whether you’re celebrating in the Hamptons, Montauk, or anywhere your story takes you, my approach is rooted in honest, unobtrusive storytelling.
My style blends lifestyle wedding photography with a documentary approach—natural, guided when needed, but never forced. I’ll step in to create space for beautiful, effortless moments, then step back to let the day unfold so I can capture the emotion, energy, and in-between moments that make your wedding uniquely yours.
From coastal Hamptons weddings to elegant Long Island estates and destination celebrations, this is about more than just beautiful images—it’s about creating timeless, emotive wedding photography that reflects who you are and how it all felt. The result is a collection of photographs that are real, meaningful, and full of life—so you can relive your wedding day for decades to come.

How it unfolds
THE PROCESS
My wedding photography process is designed to be seamless, organized, and stress-free from start to finish. From your initial inquiry and consultation to booking, planning, and your wedding day, I guide you every step of the way. With a documentary, candid approach and a focus on natural, timeless imagery, everything is built around making your experience effortless—so you can stay present while I capture it all. After your wedding, you’ll receive a preview within days, followed by a fully edited online gallery of high-resolution images.

STEP 01

Inquiry & Availability
Once you reach out, I’ll confirm my availability for your wedding date and send over initial information about my wedding photography collections. From there, we’ll schedule a quick consultation to connect.
STEP 02

Consultation
We’ll hop on a video call to talk through your vision, your wedding plans, and what you’re looking for in a photographer. I’ll walk you through my approach, answer any questions, and help you decide if we’re the right fit.
STEP 03

Booking Your Date
If everything feels right, I’ll send over a proposal with your custom wedding photography package, contract, and retainer invoice. Once that’s complete, your date is officially secured.
STEP 04

Planning & Preparation
Leading up to your wedding, I’m here as a resource for timeline guidance, lighting considerations, and anything that helps your day run smoothly. I’ll also collaborate with your planner and vendor team to ensure everything is aligned.
STEP 05

WEDDING DAY
On your wedding day, I take a calm, documentary approach—capturing real moments as they naturally unfold while also stepping in when needed for direction and guidance. With a mix of candid storytelling and intentional portraits, I document your day in a way that feels effortless and true to you.
STEP 04

Delivery & Final Gallery
Within a few days, you’ll receive a preview of your wedding photos to relive the moment right away. Your full online gallery is delivered within 8–10 weeks, complete with high-resolution images ready for download, sharing, and printing.
WHAT IT's LIKE TO WORK WITH ME
Support, guidance, and space to actually enjoy your day.
When you book me, you’re not getting a random photographer showing up on your wedding day—you’re getting me. The person you connected with, the person who understands your vision, and the one who will be there to document it all.
I help you build a thoughtful, realistic photo timeline that allows your day to flow naturally—factoring in everything from buffer time to moments to actually breathe and be present.
I know when to step in and guide, and when to step back and let moments unfold. Some of the most meaningful photos happen in between the big events—and I’m always paying attention to those.
Throughout the day, my goal is simple: keep things calm, keep things moving, and make sure you feel comfortable, confident, and fully yourself in front of the camera.

What your wedding day can truly look and feel like
STEP INSIDE THE EXPERIENCE
Your wedding isn’t just a collection of perfect photos—it’s a full experience. These galleries are designed to show you exactly what that looks like, from beginning to end. With a balance of guided, lifestyle-driven imagery and a documentary approach, you’ll see how moments unfold naturally while still feeling elevated, intentional, and true to you.
(Please note that by logging in as a guest you are only seeing the highlights and not the full gallery)

What would you say your style is?
My approach to wedding photography is rooted in a photojournalistic style—capturing real, unscripted moments as they naturally unfold. I focus on documenting genuine эмоtion, connection, and energy without forcing anything.
Stylistically, my work lives in a balanced, true-to-life space. It’s not overly dark and moody, and it’s not overly bright and airy—I’ve developed a natural, timeless editing style that sits right in between.
I also tailor my editing to reflect the season of your wedding. Spring and summer weddings feature a lighter, more vibrant tone, while fall and winter weddings lean into richer, warmer, and slightly more rustic tones. The goal is always the same: to create images that feel authentic to your day and will stand the test of time.

Can we set up a meeting? Where are you located?
Once you’ve reached out and I’ve confirmed availability for your wedding date, the next step is to connect on a video call. This gives us a chance to walk through my wedding photography packages, learn more about your vision, and see if we’re the right fit for each other.
I typically schedule consultation calls Monday through Thursday, with availability in the early afternoon and evening to accommodate your schedule.

Do you have liability insurance?

Absolutely! If your wedding venue or event space requires a certificate of insurance (COI), I’m happy to provide it. This is a standard part of working with many venues, and I ensure all necessary documentation is handled seamlessly.
COIs are typically sent directly to your venue about 1–2 months prior to your wedding or event date to ensure everything is in place well in advance.

Have you photographed at my venue?
There’s a great chance I’ve photographed at your venue before. With over 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer on Long Island, I’m familiar with many of the area’s most popular venues and how to make the most of each space.
If your venue is new to me, I’ll take the time to scout it in advance—identifying the best locations, lighting, and photo opportunities. This preparation ensures I arrive on your wedding day fully confident and ready to create the best possible images.

How long until we get our photos back? How many do we usually get back?
For engagement sessions and lifestyle photography, your final gallery is typically delivered within 1–2 weeks. I know many couples use these images for save-the-dates and announcements, so I prioritize a quick turnaround without compromising quality. A standard two-hour engagement session includes approximately 100–200 fully edited, high-resolution images.
For weddings, you’ll receive a preview gallery of 8–10 images within 3–4 days—perfect for sharing with family and friends right away. Your full wedding gallery is delivered within 8–10 weeks and includes approximately 800–1200 professionally edited, high-resolution images from an 8–12 hour wedding day.

Your online gallery will remain active on my proofing site for a minimum of one year, giving you plenty of time to download, share, and revisit your images. In practice, I’ve maintained client galleries for years, so many couples are able to access their photos well beyond that timeframe.
For added peace of mind, all final images are securely backed up on multiple hard drives. As a wedding photographer, I take image preservation seriously—so even if your files are ever lost, you can always reach out and I’ll be happy to provide another copy.

How long do you keep our photos for? Are they backed up somewhere? What happens if we lose them?
Do you use a second photographer for wedding days?
All of my primary wedding photography packages include a second photographer. This is especially valuable for weddings with larger guest counts (typically 100+ guests), allowing for more comprehensive coverage throughout the day.
Having a second photographer means we can capture multiple moments simultaneously—such as one of us documenting the bride getting ready while the other photographs the groom. The result is a more complete story and a greater variety of images in your final gallery.
I only work with experienced second photographers I know and trust, ensuring a consistent style, professionalism, and seamless coverage from start to finish.

Do you travel?
Absolutely—I love destination weddings. I’ve had the opportunity to photograph weddings across the country and around the world, including locations like Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Minnesota, California and even Ireland.
If you’re planning a destination wedding, I’d love to hear all about it. When you inquire, be sure to include your location and travel details, and I’ll let you know my availability. I’m always excited to document celebrations in new and meaningful places.

Absolutely. Love is love, and all couples are welcome here.
I proudly photograph weddings for couples of all backgrounds, identities, and beliefs—including LGBTQ+ couples—and have extensive experience documenting same-sex weddings. My approach is rooted in inclusivity, respect, and creating a space where every couple feels comfortable, celebrated, and fully themselves.
No matter who you are or how you love, you deserve to have your story documented authentically.
